Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Appfluence AI Pty Ltd (ACN 699 377 172) handles personal information across appfluence.ai, our application form, our workshops and our communications. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Questions any time: hello@appfluence.ai.
The Short Version
We collect what we need to run workshops and to know whether our marketing works: the answers you give our application form, your booking and payment details, and analytics about how the site is used. We do not sell personal information, and what you tell us about the inside of your business stays confidential.
What We Collect
What you give us. Your name and contact details, the answers in your workshop application (things like your business type, revenue range and what you want AI to do), booking details when you schedule a call, survey and feedback answers, and anything you send us directly. Payments are processed by Stripe; we see the outcome and receipt details, never your full card number.
What arrives automatically. Standard analytics: the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, roughly where you are, and, where you arrived from an ad, which campaign brought you. This comes from cookies and similar tools described below.
From the room.Workshops may be photographed or filmed for our marketing, and testimonials are only ever published with the person’s agreement. Tell us on the day if you would rather stay out of frame.
What We Use It For
Running the thing you asked for: assessing applications, holding your seat, tailoring the day to your business, delivering the support period, invoicing and receipts, and the record keeping tax law requires. Improving how we sell: which pages, ads and messages actually lead to seats. And staying in touch: emails about your booking always, marketing only in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), with an unsubscribe that works in every message.
The Tools That Touch Your Data
We are a small company built on good software, and some of it processes personal information on our behalf: Fillout (the application form), Stripe (payments), Calendly (call bookings), PostHog (product analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), Vercel (website hosting), Google Workspace (email and documents), Skool (the post-workshop community) and HubSpot (our customer records). Each has its own privacy policy, and several store data in the United States or Europe; where information leaves Australia we take reasonable steps consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Advertising and Analytics
The site uses the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API so we can tell which ads lead to applications, and PostHog to understand how the site itself is used. You can limit ad tracking through your browser’s cookie controls and your Meta ad preferences. The site works fine with tracking blocked.
When We Share, and When We Never Do
We share personal information with the providers above so they can do their jobs, with our accountants and advisers where needed, and with authorities where the law requires it. If the business is ever sold or restructured, customer records go with it under the same protections. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share the commercial details you tell us about your business, in applications, on calls or in the room, without your permission.
Storage, Security and How Long We Keep Things
Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it, behind modern authentication. No system is beyond all risk; if a data breach ever occurred that was likely to cause serious harm, we would follow the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, telling you and the regulator. Financial records are kept for seven years as tax law requires; customer records are kept while we have a relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or de-identified.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@appfluence.ai. We respond within thirty days, and we will tell you plainly if the law requires us to keep something, such as invoices. If you believe we have mishandled your information and we cannot resolve it together, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Housekeeping
Our workshops and site are for business owners and are not directed at children. We may update this policy as the business and its tools change; the current version always lives at this address, and material changes to how we treat existing information will be flagged to affected people. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service.
